Newcrest Mining's Cadia Valley Operations has so far raised $4,908 to support flood-impacted communities

The workforce at Cadia Valley Operations are raising funds to support the local communities in Cabonne Council that have been impacted by the recent flooding.
We are thinking of all those across the Central West who have been so severely impacted.
Donations will go to GIVIT’s Storms and Flooding Appeal, and will be used to purchase essential items and services for those affected. 100% of publicly donated money received by GIVIT for the Storms and Flooding Appeal is used to buy exactly what’s needed, when it’s needed. Where possible, GIVIT buys locally to support the economic recovery of impacted regions.
GIVIT is working with the New South Wales Government, local councils, support organisations, charities, outreach teams and community groups to identify exactly what’s needed to help people recover. The video below shows how GIVIT helps during recovery from natural disasters.
