Bunnings is fundraising to support cyclone and flood impacted communities

Bunnings is proudly supporting GIVIT to help communities in Queensland and New South Wales get back on their feet.

All funds raised will go to GIVIT’s Tropical Cyclone Alfred and North & Far North Queensland Flood Appeals, and will be used to purchase essential items and services for those affected. This includes grocery and fuel vouchers for immediate relief, products to assist in the clean-up effort and whitegoods and furniture as people move back into their homes.

GIVIT works directly with councils, outreach teams, recovery organisations, charities, community groups and schools to identify exactly what’s needed to make sure people get what they need, when they need it.

100% of publicly donated funds received by GIVIT for these Appeals will be used to purchase essential goods and services. Where possible, GIVIT uses donated funds to purchase items from local providers to support the economic recovery of impacted regions.

We know there is a long road ahead. GIVIT will continue to work alongside impacted communities in the coming weeks and months to offer support and assistance with the recovery and rebuilding process.
