Help us support those affected by disasters in Victoria

Bikers & Coffee is fundraising to help GIVIT meet the real needs of vulnerable Australians impacted by the 2026 Victorian bushfires, while also supporting local businesses and towns affected.

Event name: Ride to Recover

Ride to Recover is focused on two simple outcomes:

1. Turn up in numbers and spend local
   We’ll gather a large group of motorcycle enthusiasts and ride to a bushfire-impacted town (or nearby). Once there, we’ll spend locally, coffee, lunch, fuel, and supplies to help local cafés, pubs, servos, and small businesses recover.

2. Raise funds for people relief through GIVIT
   We’ll raise additional funds via a GIVIT donation QR code, so anyone can contribute instantly at any time leading up to the event, and again on the day. Donations go to GIVIT to help coordinate and deliver essential goods and services to people who need support most.

Event plan (how it will run):

• The meeting point, route, and destination will be posted in event updates closer to the date, once conditions are stable and we can confirm the best town to support.

• On arrival, the focus is simple: park respectfully, support local businesses, and donate via QR.

• After the ride, an update with the total raised will be posted publicly.

Since 2009, GIVIT has coordinated the donation of almost 9 million essential goods and services through a network of almost 5,000 charity partners across Australia. When you donate to purchase an essential item for someone in need, 100% of publicly donated funds go toward requested essentials. Fundraising also supports the work of coordinating help for thousands of Australians.
