Cudal Community Flood Appeal

Help me support people impacted by the floods

We are fundraising to help people impacted by the 2022 flash flooding of the small community in Cudal, New South Wales. Our small farming based community has been devastated by the recent record-breaking flash flood. We lost several homes, irreparable. 

Atleast a dozen families displaced, half of which now homeless. 

Three of our town's most needed business' sustained major water damage and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stock, tools and machinery, gone. This includes our local servo, our town's only direct source of fuel, is now out of order for the unforseen future.

Our only medical centre sustained flood damage.

Our surrounding farms greatly impacted with the death of hundreds of livestock and their babes. And entire crops just washed away.

Our main traffic bridge has major damages, with just a patch-job repair, as well as our footbridges which are now completely destroyed. 

Recovery is going to take a long time.

Donations will go to GIVIT’s Cudal Community Flood Appeal, and will be used to purchase essential items and services for those affected. 100% of publicly donated money received by GIVIT for the Cudal Community Flood Appeal  is used to buy exactly what’s needed, when it’s needed. Where possible, GIVIT buys locally to support the economic recovery of impacted regions.

GIVIT is working with the Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales Governments, as well as support organisations, charities, outreach teams and community groups to identify exactly what’s needed to help people recover.
