GIVIT: Essentials for Central Coast Families Impacted by Fires

Yesterday’s bushfires on the Central Coast have left many families in Koolewong and surrounding areas without essentials, belongings, and support — especially with Christmas so close.

I’ve created this GIVIT fundraiser to help provide urgent items and assistance to locals who’ve been affected. Every donation, no matter the amount, goes directly toward helping people replace what’s been lost and rebuild during this difficult time.

1. Local charities and services tell GIVIT exactly what people need

(e.g., clothing, fuel vouchers, food, furniture, school supplies, appliances).

2. GIVIT uses donated funds to buy those specific items

They spend 100% of donation money on the requested items — not admin.

3. Those items go directly to the people affected

Nothing goes to waste, and people get exactly what they need, when they need it.

4. You’re not giving cash to individuals — you’re funding the essentials they need

This keeps the process safe, transparent, and fair.
