Bushfire Appeal
When: Sunday, 26th of November, 10 am to 12 noon
Where: 30 Brindle street Paddington
What is happening: We are hosting a fundraiser to support a bushfire appeal through the sale of our homemade blueberry and strawberry jams
Why: As you may be aware, bushfires have significantly impacted communities in Queensland, particularly in Tara within the Western Downs region. Over 40,000 hectares have been burned, 65 homes destroyed, and sadly, two lives lost. The Deputy Commissioner of QFES has stated that this season is the worst in 70 years.
In light of these challenges, Amin, Rohan, and I have decided to take action. We're making homemade blueberry and strawberry jams to sell on Sunday, 26th of November (10al to 12 noon) and all the proceeds will be donated to GIVIT for the bushfire appeal. GIVIT is actively collaborating with support organizations to aid communities in rebuilding, recovering, and healing.
